Tai Ji Circle is an official Chen Village Taiji school in London. It teaches Chen Style Taiji at different levels through in-person, online and private teaching. The lead teacher is a 20th generation Chen Style Taiji teacher who has taught since 1991. The school also offers Da Bei, Jiu Jiu and Hard Qigong, alongside Tui Na, Dian Xue and Qigong healing.
Foundation classes welcome complete beginners, and all students, including senior students, attend Foundation. Training covers basic stances, silk reeling and standing practice before the 19 Form. Most classes are also available online through Zoom.
Basic membership costs £90 per year. Basic members can buy five classes for £70 or ten classes for £120, with both purchases valid for 120 days. Gold membership costs £135 per month and includes regular weekly classes except Da Bei Qigong Deep Practice.
Classes take place at Islington Chinese Association, St Paul's Church in Camden Square and Hargrave Hall Community Centre in Archway.
