Spelthorne Gymnastics

Spelthorne Gymnastics is a not-for-profit organisation offering competitive acrobatic gymnastics and three tumbling squads. Its acrobatics and tumbling sections started in 1986. The club holds GymMark accreditation for child safety, and all coaches are qualified through British Gymnastics.

Programmes include baby gymnastics, pre-school classes and general gymnastics, as well as parties, playtime and holiday camps. Intermediate and advanced gymnastics classes are by invitation only. Guided sessions accommodate individual sensory needs, while structured sessions follow the club badge scheme.

The club has squads that prepare children for possible selection into competitive acrobatics or tumbling squads. Squad entry requires an invitation and trial. Acrobatic squads train between 10 and over 20 hours per week, depending on the group. Tumbling squads train between 6 and 10 hours per week, depending on the group.

Pre-school classes cost £54 per month plus £19 annual British Gymnastics membership. A one-hour general gymnastics class costs £66 per month plus £26 annual British Gymnastics membership. A free trial session is available to select an appropriate class.

The facility is adjacent to Bishop Wand School in Sunbury on Thames. The club is on Laytons Lane, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, TW16 6LP.
