Roger Gracie Academy

Roger Gracie Academy in Wigston is the only Roger Gracie Academy in the East Midlands. It offers adult Gi and No-Gi training and children's classes for ages 4–15 across three groups. Private coaching and strength and conditioning options are also available.

The academy has a strength and conditioning room, changing facilities and three private showers. Adult members can use the weights area.

Beginner No-Gi daytime classes run on Wednesdays at 1 pm and Fridays at 11 am. Women's self-defence runs on Sundays from 10–11 am, and SEN Jiu-Jitsu runs on Sundays from 3–4 pm. Juniors and teens train on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30 pm. Little Kids classes take place on Sundays from 9–9:45 am.

Adult half membership costs £55 monthly for two weekly classes plus Sunday Open Mat. Adult full membership costs £75 monthly for unlimited eligible classes, while young adult full membership costs £65 monthly. Juniors and teens membership costs £50 monthly, and Little Kids membership costs £35 monthly. Non-member drop-ins cost £10 per session.

The academy is based at the rear of 9–13 Bell Street in Wigston. There is no on-site parking or drop-off point. The first trial class is free, with no obligation to join, and trials can be booked through Coacha.
