Oxford BSAC Scuba Diving Club
Oxford BSAC Scuba Diving Club is a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). It collaborates with Oxford University Underwater Exploration Group and welcomes divers qualified through BSAC, PADI, SSI or another agency.
Beginner BSAC scuba training is available from age 10, delivered by BSAC-certified volunteer instructors. Training programs can be tailored to members' schedules. Try Dive sessions typically last about one hour and include all scuba equipment.
The clubhouse includes showers, a bar, compressor room, kit storage and a classroom. Equipment rentals include BCDs, regulators, cylinders and fins. The club owns a hard boat moored in Plymouth that can carry up to twelve divers. The training pool has a 3.5-metre dive pit.
Club meetings take place on Wednesdays from approximately 8–10 PM. The club dives most weekends, and fortnightly pool sessions take place at Radley College Pool.
The clubhouse is in Hinksey Park, off Abingdon Road in Oxford, with the postcode OX1 4RP. Limited parking is available opposite the clubhouse. Prospective members can contact the club to arrange a visit or dive.
