Huntercombe Horses

Huntercombe Horses is a private equestrian yard in Nuffield, offering lessons and intensive training for horse and rider. Disciplines taught include eventing, showjumping and dressage. Coaching caters to all levels, from leisure riders to affiliated competitors.

The coach has over twenty years of rider coaching experience, is a qualified first aider and is DBS checked. The coach has also completed a BEF safeguarding course. Clinics take place at Huntercombe End Farm and other training venues, and a training camp runs yearly. Teaching is available in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, with clinics further afield. Stables are available for horses attending intensive training courses.

The arena measures 60 by 20 metres and has an attached lunge pen. Equipment includes full-width mirrors and dressage markers for 60-metre and 40-metre arenas. Showjumping equipment supports grids and courses, including skinnies and corners. The yard provides a wash-down box, horse walker, stable storage and tack room. The tack room and stable barn are alarmed at night, with 24-hour supervision. There is access to varied hacking with little road work.
