Clitheroe Golf Club
Clitheroe Golf Club was established in 1891 and is a championship venue for England Golf and Lancashire Golf. It has a parkland golf course.
Visitors and societies are catered for throughout the week. The club hosts corporate golf days and open competitions, with open events running between April and October. Experienced PGA coaches provide instruction for all abilities, and the academy’s instructional programmes also cater for all abilities.
The academy has a covered 10-bay driving range, a teaching bay, a swing room and a short game practice facility. The driving range is fully covered and floodlit. Other practice facilities include putting greens, a chipping green, practice bunkers and a pitching area. A limited number of buggies are available.
Visitor green fees start at £40 per person, and flexible online green fees start at £100. The James Braid Reciprocal rate is £65, and the County Card rate is £65.
The club is on Whalley Road in Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1PP, just off the A59 and one mile south of Clitheroe. Visitors can book online or contact the club office. Visiting parties of more than eight guests should book through the office.
